The artist who aims at perfection in everything achieves it in nothing. ~Eugene Delacroix

Today I am grateful...
- for the purple beach ball that has been outside my door for the past three days. Something about it being there is comforting.
- that it is decidedly cooler outside this morning. 67ยบ!
- that yesterday was a fulfilling workday
- how short the days feel anymore because they are full and satisfying and contain exactly what I need
- for the quiet stirring in my soul when I hear another alcoholic tell where they came from
In the attitude of silence the soul finds the path in a clearer light, and what is elusive and deceptive resolves itself into crystal clearness. Our life is a long and arduous quest after Truth. ~Mahatma Gandhi

You have titled this one with my favorite number...23! How did you know? You must have esp! :o)
Wow. A purple beach ball. Cool.
It's nice to see Mahatma dropping by.
As the seasons change, and twilight lengthens, purple beach balls instinctively huddle close by the doorsteps. It has always been that way.
I'm looking for positives today and you supplied several. Thanks!
I love the Delacroix quote. I think that's why some people accomplish so little...always waiting for perfection.
I find this time of year usually very happy.
So now is it time to pass that ball along?
Blessings and aloha...
Glad you liked the book Scott. Your blog has truly added to my sobriety, love to log on and stir my thoughts. Thanks for being here for me....next time I see our friend I will try to fetch a quote for you;) xo, Darlene
my favorite part of other's sharing is when they talk about the "what happened" and their spiritual comes in.
