If we've emerged from the terrors of alcoholism, we've had all the punishment anybody needs. ~Walk in Dry Places
Today I am grateful...
- for my life as it is today
- that my successes depend upon whether or not I let them happen
- that today I am not held in an emotional prison
- that there is now a city wide smoking ban for all public interiors (except cigar bars and I have no reason to be there!). Now maybe Lambda will smell better.
- that the Labor Day weekend pushes us that much closer to cooler weather
Forever is longer than you know. Eternal is longer than Forever. God is more than you imagine. God is the energy you call imagination. God is creation. God is first thought. And God is last experience. And God is everything in between. ~Conversations with God

Sing it for all the world to hear.
"that my successes depend upon whether or not I let them happen"- boy did that ever hit home for me as a (former) self-saboteur!
Thamks for sharing and have a great weekend!
Well now that all of us smokers have been pushed outside, within 2 years there will be a major news report that says "OUTDOOR SMOKERS: THE #1 CAUSE OF GLOBAL WARMING"
enjoy your day...sweet scott
Dear Scott,
Well, we will now also have room for another recovery meeting. After we scrub the walls, that is.
That can never be a bad thing, yes?
Cooler weather is a welcome respite.
Happy Sunday !
I am so grateful for the state-wide smoking ban that went into effect 14 months ago in Colorado. It felt like the world of AA opened back up to me.
The math caught my eye. At first I thought it was a typo, but I quickly realized it wasn't.
