IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

Just how and when we tell the truth--or keep silent--can often reveal the difference between genuine integrity and none at all. ~Bill W
Today I am grateful...
  • that I slept until the telephone woke me at 7:20
  • for a day ahead of honest work which will likely wear me out
  • that yesterday I got to visit the nearly finished gallery space where my show will happen in Jan 2008
  • that the gallery opening will house a group show in which I will have a couple pieces, then my show will be the first single show for this space
  • that this gallery stuff makes me very excited
  • that science is now showing that gratitude is a key to happiness and a fulfilled life
How truth makes us free is something that we A.A.'s can well understand. It cut the shackles that once bound us to alcohol. It continues to release us from conflicts and miseries beyond reckoning; it banishes fear and isolation. The unity of our Fellowship, the love we cherish for each other, the esteem in which the world holds us--all of these are products of the truth which, under God, we have been privileged to perceive. ~Bill W

I am caught up in your excitement also! People of science need to interview a group of recovering alcoholics to find out just how miraculous gratitude is.
