This day I am grateful...
- that yesterday during my long running GRRRRRR mood all the potty mouth stuff I did was inside my own car
- that this morning that mood seems to have lifted and I am pretty certain it will be gone after I meet with my sponsor this morning
- that yesterday I picked up my tin piece from Lawndale Art Center on which I will make a retablos for their Dia de los Muertos show
- that every day is a joyous one even thought I may not act the part
- that today I will, as in Tim Gunn's words, 'Carry On!' Right, Pam?
I try hard to hold fast to the truth that a full and thankful heart cannot entertain great conceits. When brimming with gratitude, one's heartbeat must surely result in outgoing love, the finest emotion that we can never know. ~Bill W

A full and thankful heart--hey, Scott W., that's the way *I* feel--most of the time! Even people are telling me they observe symptoms of "radiant happiness"...in me. ME!
Where the heck were they when I was really REALLY down...sober, but 'down'? Oh, they couldn't find me? Why didn't they look in my locked closet where I sat, shivering, shaking, sweating, afraid, and alone?
Who said I was HIDING??? As the words in the song STARDUST go: "But that was long ago...."
