This day I am grateful,,,
- that my delightful friend KAS has six months of sobriety today!
- for the soft spoken Dr Wolff that removed my ingrown toenail with absolutely no pain. It was interesting to hear him cut the nail and then feel him JERK IT OUT! I had to emphasize that to gross you out. And when it was all over I had them show me the parts they removed--that nail had turned inward in an extreme fashion. No wonder it was painful! Sorry, no pictures. But when he had these swab sticks sticking out which had meds to kill the nail root to prevent it growing back I told him I couldn't use chop sticks that way.
- that the traffic wasn't too bad coming home. It was a bit awkward using the clutch.
- for the blessings of this day and the grace that supports them and allows me to experience them
Through prayer and meditation, I open channels, then I establish and improve my conscious contact with God. Through action I then receive the power I need to maintain my sobriety each day. By maintaining my spiritual condition, by giving away what has been freely given to me, I am granted a daily reprieve. ~Daily Reflections
