I can alter my life by altering the attitude of my mind. ~author unknown

Today I am grateful...
  • that I have no unfinished business from yesterday
  • that the rescue dog on the property is healthy, but has heart worms and will require treatment
  • that I got to see Dave's new LARGE classic T-Bird last night
  • that my life keeps purring along
  • for a little black and white companion with a Betty Boop head

I don't like myself, I'm CRAZY about myself! ~Mae West

Rats!
They fought the dogs and killed the cats,
And bit the babies in the cradles,
And ate the cheeses out of the vats,
And licked the soup from the cooks' own ladles,
Split open the kegs of salted sprats,
Made nests inside men's Sunday hats,
And eve. ~Robert Browning

Where else could a boy get Maye West AND Robert Browning but your blog? Marvellous!

Dave has a new car? Is it one of those 1950s American cars I grew up watching in films on a Saturday? S'okay...I've grown out of my James Dean phase (ended last week sometime... lmao).

Have a good day, S.

I love Mae West. Thanks for her quote. Goodness had nothing to do with it.

Just think, when those Thunderbirds hit the streets they were considered a smaller personal luxury car.

Now I feel like rummaging around for my Patsy Cline collction so I can hear the song Crazy.

I never thought of Thunderbirds as being large, but I guess they are by today's standards.

The "unknown" quote sounds like motivational speaker Earl Nightingale, from The Magic Word (Attitude), Lead the Field album.
