IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

I never heard a better name for booze than Lunatic Soup. ~Trip S.

Today I am grateful...
  • that music and technology are so accessible
  • for Bunny's dog attitude. Dogs have to be the happiest creatures God ever made.
  • for the rooms full of laughter and tears, growth and spiritual development
  • for prayers for those who are suffering
  • for peace and quiet on a Wednesday morning
I remember that first drink and feeling so surprised and amazed and delighted. And I think of how many alcoholics are dying right now trying somehow, some way, to re-create that moment. ~Charlie C.

Bunny has a better attitude than any platypus I've ever known.

Dogs are the most awesome creatures. Guess that's why Dog is God spelled backwards.

Cool Syd. I had not noticed that. I love my pups so much I bitched last night because I had not had a dog to sleep with in 2 days. My husband and daughter were hoging them. I did have my Annie last night, Joe saw to that!

I like Charlie C's quotation. It would be like trying to recapture the magic of playing with Matchbox cars, right, Scott?

I knew a dog named Colby with severe obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Bunny is a babe! I wonder if Kipling, my dog, notices that I haven't come home drunk in the past 51 days.

No matter how stinkin' drunk I got, I always remembered to take her potty -- even the night I almost killed myself drinking by five gin martinis on an empty stomach.

I'm glad dogs don't drink Lunatic Soup.

That is one of the best nicknames I have heard for alcohol. I love your gratitude lists.

love the quote at the end!
I love the way Theo never pretends to be anything other than who he is.
