IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

04.06.08 Attack of the Even Numbers

If you speak or write in English please read this article on I/ME/MYSELF. And here is a list of common errors.
...we ourselves need to practice what we preach--and forget the 'preaching,' too. The quiet good example speaks for itself. ~As Bill Sees It
Today I am grateful...
  • for last night's fellowship with some of the art community
  • that by paying a little bit of attention I can find the guides for my life
  • for this glorious cool weather
  • that the Twenty-Four Hour a Day book says I am a modern miracle
  • to have a new day at my disposal, every day
  • that I get to write more sober history on today's blank page
To be glad of life, because it gives you the chance to love and to work and to play and to look up to the stars; to be satisfied with your possessions, but not contented with yourself until you have made the best of them… to be governed by your admirations rather than by your disgusts; to covet nothing that is your neighbors' except their kindness of heart and gentleness of manners… these are the little guideposts on the footpath of peace. ~Henry van Dyke

I write as I speak.
I almost always have to erase the first few comments on EVERY ONES blog, because I can't get the grammar or the spelling right. It drives me crazy.
Some of my Best stuff..humor wise, I've never posted because I can't get the grammer right.

It's such a burden being perfect.
Sigh
I gave it up for Lent, and I've decided to make it a purmamint thing.

Hey, can I doodle on the margins of your page of sobriety today?

Thank you for that wonderful article!
I used to say "this is she" when someone asked for me on the phone, but people would be startled. Now I say "This is Mary" or "This is Ms. G., "
