You cannot do all of this week's breathing, or eating, or sleeping in just one day. There's plenty of time to get everything done if you'll just stop wasting so much effort on jumping ahead. Seek to live in harmony with the rhythm and flow of life. Live life as it comes, and it will come to you in great abundance. ~Ralph Marston
Today I am grateful...
- that it is cooler this morning than I expected, but I am enjoying it
- that my Higher Power didn't give up when I was nothing but a dirty dish rag soaked in tequila
- that my expanding heart is the proof that I am in conscious contact
- for flexibility when plans change
- for the way my life flows
- that I constantly consider myself to be a lucky man
They say there are no 'musts' in AA, that it's a 'suggested program'. That's right. The same way that when you jump out of a plane, it's suggested you take a parachute. ~unknown

You may have been a dish rag, but I think you were a dirty pink dish rag.
I like the Marston quote. Seek to live in harmony with the rhythm and flow of life. Amen to that.
Darlin, you weren't a rag, you were a HAG!
MMMMMMM. Sisters certainly have a way with words. Once out of the plane, you have to pull the cord or the chute ain't no good. A very good example of "you must do your part."
Methinks your sister calling you a hag is a case of the pot calling the kettle black, in a strictly fag hag kinda way.
I'm like Syd...I'm in the rhythm of the Marston quotation.
I'm also grateful to you. Thanks to you I was able to include those photos of me with my Grandpa on my recent post about him. Thanks, honey!
You are lucky if you're flexible!
I need to remember the marston quote ALL DAY.
