IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

Simplicity is the keynote of a good life. Choose the simple things always. Life can become complicated if you let it be so. You can be swamped by difficulties if you let them take up too much of your time. Every difficulty can be either solved or ignored and something better substituted for it. Love the humble things of life. Reverence the simple things. Your standard must never be the world's standard of wealth and power. ~Twenty-Four Hours a Day
Today I am grateful...
  • to greet a new day after a night of restless sleep accompanied by wild dreams and the itches. Both Bunny and I had an itchy night.
  • that I lead the Hump Day group today and our speaker will be Marsha M with over 30 years of sobriety and serious down-to-Earthness
  • that I plan to take the computer in today for a necessary tune-up. Things are wonky and out of place since that visit to a virtual tour on a realtor's website. They will have it for a minimum of a day, maybe longer, so I am taking a break from blogging during that time.
  • that probably I can survive a day or two or three without my computer. I say probably. Know what I mean?
Your willingness creates an opening in your being that allows the Holy Spirit to do things. It allows the Holy Spirit to heal you, teach you and guide you. Learn to be willing and you'll truly see what God can do. ~David Nelmes

Hearing someone with so many years of sobriety must be inspiring. Hope that you'll be back on line soon.

I thought for sure Daave would suggest that you and Bunny might want to check the bed for fleas. LOL

Hope to see you soon. (well, in a virtual sense)

Dearest Scott W,
You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires.

He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him.

When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. —John 8:44
