As you take responsibility for the things you can change, you can more easily surrender to the things you can’t, remembering all the while that this phase will, without doubt, give way to another. ~today's DailyOm
Today I am grateful...
- for today's DailyOm post on This Too Shall Pass
- that I was invited to an opening at an artist's residence and met some influential people. As a result another piece at the Nauhaus Gallery sold yesterday.
- for being at the right place at the right time
- that my fear of talking to people has been greatly lessened
- for the 'stuff' I have to do today, some work related, some personal
Yes, there is One Great Truth; there is a Final Reality. But you will always get what you choose, regardless of that reality--precisely because the reality is that you are a divine creature, divinely creating your reality even as you are experiencing it. ~Meditations from Conversations with God

Thanks for them there dangerous words. I now have a discussion topic for Thursday's meeting.
Enjoy your daily "stuff," whatever it may be.
Hi, I stumbled upon your blog when I googled "St. Theresa's prayer". I love your attitude of gratitude! I have just recently begun doing this too by composing a daily gratitude list and sharing/emailing it to my friends. It's always great to meet others with the same outlook.
All the best to you!
Good list and good thoughts about alcoholism and the I'm different thought pattern. When I think about being different I do think that I never fit. But that's a whole "different" topic.
This is quickly becoming my favorite blog. Keep up the amazing work. I love your honesty and openness. I wish I had that kind of honesty. I checked out your art blog. WOW! that stuff is powerful and moving.
Dear Scott,
Hi !! I see Micky's back.
Please give Bunny a second birthday kiss for me. He looks very dapper for a two year old.
Love to you , Scott.
Thanks for sharing this. Especially the dangers of being different.
Mickey,
Keep your lies and propaganda in your own back yard.
Glass houses?
Bunny looked like he was actually posing! I loved it. Theo would just love him.
I'm so happy that your success is growing...as it should darlin'.
Them Thar Dangersous words can really let the air out of ones program. Luv ya.
Scott,
Thanks. Our discussion topic tonight at Mondays with Bill W was "rationalization". Naturally, "I'm different" came up often.
