With all sorts of changes taking place, it's only natural to grab hold of something, anything familiar and try to hold on. Solace can be found in a Power greater than ourselves. The more we allow changes to happen at the direction of our Higher Power, the more we'll trust that those changes are for the best. Faith will replace fear, and we'll know in our hearts that all will be well. ~NA, Just for Today
Last night after I left R and J's, after a lovely dinner and laughter in front of the television, I had that buoyant feeling that springs from everything being all right. Because it was. I had not a care in the world, and I had only to be in that moment. Marvelous.
Sitting here in the silence of another sober morning there is not a thing I am lacking in my life. I look around and think maybe it would be nice to have a little more room, that maybe the place could be cleaner or things could be more in their place. Maybe I could just have a little more time in a day. But seriously, those are the most tiniest of desires and really have no investment in my thinking.
It's just all good today. Now, all I have to do is carry that with me throughout this day.

The most wonderful feeling - all is well.
I LOVE that feeling, like Mary Christine said, all is well.
I too have more and more of those days.
Thanks for saying it with the eloquence of a sober person with gay hair and a dog on batteries.
There's a very special fellowship with other sober people who "get it." I'm here on the East Coast bein' all happy that you are recovering from your surgery so well!
p.s. I just saw Remnant...very compelling.
I am so glad that all is well with you....sugar butt.
