Today I am grateful...
- for October in Houston. The weather is glorious.
- that sometimes what it takes is paying more attention
- that sometimes all Bunny wants is a pat on the head. Sometimes that's all I want too.
- that today I make the choice to trust
- that although there are many double standards in the world, I can strive to eliminate them from my thoughts

October was always my favorite month when I lived in Houston. It's not too bad back home in Kentucky either. Glad your heat wave finally broke. Also grateful there are no fires in Houston like in California. That is just awful (as Mom would say).

You get two pats on the head for two great quotations. Cool, rainy, and wonderful here in Virginia today...we need the rain. True to the second quotation, the endless non-changing dry days did a good job of nearly killing things off around here.
