. . . . [W]e know that the pains of drinking had to come before sobriety, and emotional turmoil before serenity. ~12 & 12
Today I am grateful...
- that today I will pick up a couple of new canvases and start a new painting
- for the spiritual gift of consistency
- that I only have a daily reprieve, but I get it daily
- that I have at my disposal, today, a program so powerful it can temporarily HALT a drunk's disease
I try hard to hold fast to the truth that a full and thankful heart cannot entertain great conceits. When brimming with gratitude, one's heartbeat must surely result in outgoing love, the finest emotion that we can never know. ~Bill W

10-4 good buddy
Happy Thursday, Scott !!
As an alcoholic, I know that I can be lured into thinking that the world revolves around ME, but today's first quotation speaks directly to me right now. Isn't it funny how that frequently happens, in meetings and out? There truly are no coincidences in this life. Paint on, beautiful maverick!
I'll bet it is exciting to see a blank canvas
Yeah, what Daave said... That's a big 10-4
