Alcoholics Anonymous is an utter simplicity which encases a complete mystery. ~Bill W.
Today I am grateful...
- to find out the service auction is in two weeks, which means I gotta get busy
- that I get to meet an old friend for brunch after the morning meeting
- the world keeps spinning with no help from me
- that today I will try not to rationalize myself into detours
The cure we learn in this program for our lonely arrogance is a miracle and a blessing. We accept that we are part of a larger whole. Now it dawns on us - all of our friends and relatives share this basic powerlessness. We are all pilgrims. We are all guests. We are all stewards of creation. We can be close, and we must help one another because everyone is equally vulnerable. ~Touchstones

You'll be OK.
I forget that the world does not need me in order to keep spinning! Isn't it funny how sometimes we need to just get "right sized"?
That's just what I needed to hear this morning.
One title on this post sez the 9th, the other sez the 10th.
Does this mean we're officially in the Twilight Zone??
