IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

I had been preached to, analyzed, cursed, and counseled, but no one had ever said, 'I identify with what's going on with you.' ~Alcoholics Anonymous, 4th ed., pg. 450
Today I am grateful...
  • that two well placed Tylenol PMs brought me rest when my bones and muscles were aching
  • that yesterday I started and finished a painting (to be posted later)
  • that art and recovery occupy most of my thoughts
  • that I do not believe ALL I hear. I must temper it with a little sanity, self-reflection and experience. What I will believe without questioning is your experience.
...we may come to wonder how we ever could have been so deluded by the sick self of our drinking years. We feel relief when we realize that we no longer have to live and think that way.... if we continue in the program and make sobriety our highest priority. We will realize too that the self we find in sobriety is the real self.... a person who was there all along but was crowded out and suppressed by the demands of our sick nature. This real self is what we were created to be, and sobriety brought its discovery. ~Walk in Dry Places

love that piece from the bb, those words are so powerful...

i have heard that tylenol pm's can also be used as an allergy remedy. not sure if it's true. a pharmacist said they have the same thing benadryl has in them to make you sleep. (benadryl doesn't make me sleepy tho.)

well placed Tylenol PMs ???
hmmmm I just can't bring myself to ask.
I have been looking at that powder room off and on all day.
I'm sure glad that there is a Scott W. out there.

I will just concur with what Pam just said.

Art and recovery now, that sounds like excellent thinking. And an excellent life.

Just where did you place the Tylenol PMs ?

I placed them in my mouth, then swallowed with a sip of water. Hmmm, didn't mean to be so cryptic about that item.

I had left my camera at R's last night hoping to get some new pics of Virgil. I did tonight and will photograph the painting tomorrow when there is more natural light.

I was gonna say, "I thought you placed them up your butt," but then thought better of it. Guess I'll keep that comment to myself.

Have a great Tuesday! Much love.
