A definition of an alcoholic: A drunk with a conscience. ~Keith D
Today I am grateful for...
- waking up sober with the only aches and pains from a day of honest hard work
- that I was able to come home yesterday afternoon, take a nap, cut my hair and make it to the first half of birthday night
- for a solid night of rest save for a few trips to the bathroom
- for artistic inspiration in likely and unlikely places
- that I have been open to receiving some great secrets from my Higher Power
You are the creator of your own Serenity. It lives and breathes within your desire for Recovery. It is no mystery. It is a conscious choice. Serenity is born and flourishes, with the help of your Higher Power, through your own efforts to maintain order, stability and self-discipline within your everyday life. Serenity is a daily gift you give to yourself. Be generous! --Lumpy Karma
Many do not know that we are here in this world to live in harmony. ~Buddha

LOVED the first quote..so TRUE.
Your nightly bathroom trips seem to mirror mine. Perhaps we should call each other and chit chat during the night :)
Dear Scott,
It was good to see you last night ! I've missed you.
I suspect it was far too warm in the room last night.
I hope you and Bunny are well and happy.
Love to you.
So much good stuff.
You and Pam can do an audio blog of your loo chats.
Is Lumpy Karma any kin to Lumpy Rutherford?
You cut your own hair? You're double-jointed, right? Or you have three hands?
Make yourself useful and pop over and give me a trim. :-)
Like the bathroom wall covering/paper/design (above)
Can you help with a new research project about alcoholism?
Hi Scott
We are running a research blog into the diagnosis, treatment and lifestyles of people who have been diagnosed with alcoholism.
We are really interested in the story of you or a friend’s or family member’s diagnosis. It would be really great if you could spare a few minutes to have look and share your thoughts

Please remember that all responses are completely anonymous and this study will help shape new research into this area.
Email me if you have any queries about this project.
Thanks
