IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

08.12.07

We must be careful not to drift into worry, remorse, or morbid reflection, for that would diminish our usefulness to ourselves and to others. ~page 86
Today I am grateful...
  • that HGTV is on the TV at the hospital
  • for the first rate care R is getting. Dialysis is looking more and more like the solution.
  • that when I surrendered the fight I was no longer afraid. That was the moment I began to truly live.
  • for each brick that has been removed from the Great Wall of Scott
  • that today we go to Galveston to see Tuna Does Vegas

Gradually the ice that was my heart melted and I changed as my relationship with my Higher Power grew. Life began to take on a whole new meaning. page 444, 4th edition

I love that reading on page 86- because I am really good at drifting into morbid reflection, so it was very good to me to know we are not supposed to do this
By the way, Scott...? why are you in the hospital? and do you need dialysis? Thinking of you and sending love and prayers your way

Dear Scott,

I'm happy there is a solution for R. Dialysis isn't a "rest of his life" thing, probably.

I'm also glad that you have something up at the hospital that helps you relax (HGTV).

Love you.
