An eye for eye only ends up making the whole world blind. ~Mahatma Gandhi
Today I am grateful...
  • that I had a back up keyboard when my old cordless one got so old and creaky yesterday that it refused to let me type half the keys
  • for a day of quiet. I attended the noon meeting, but during the day I stayed quiet and to myself. I needed some serious alone time. I get it all the time, but yesterday it was mandatory so I could just be.
  • to awake this morning to the sounds of rain and thunder
  • that I will attempt to find a nice umbrella today. Bunny attacked my old Crate and Barrel umbrella I had for years, so nice with its wooden handle and rib tips.
  • that my frustrations are decreasing

It is ironic that the one thing that all religions recognize as separating us from our Creator--our very self-consciousness--is also the one thing that divides us from our fellow creatures. ~Annie Dillard

I hope you stay dry today, except during your shower.

Poor Bunny may have just been minding his own business, and the umbrella attacked him....we never really know what objects are doing when we aren't looking...now do we?

I'm praying for rain myself. It's been months with nary a drop.

Silly Bunny, umbrellas are for kids.

When someone told me that if I was self-conscious I was self-centered I thought they were MEAN! Until I realized it was the truth. Dang!
