We all need time alone. Then we can get to know our Higher Power better too. When we were using chemicals, we were afraid of being alone. We didn't want to think too much. So we got high.
Today I am grateful...
- for the afternoon of art with Matt, then dinner afterwards
- to have made great progress on a commission piece that is not in my usual style (will post a picture after it's finished)
- to have life at my disposal after a lifetime of keeping my door closed
- that today I get to see Boston at the Came to Believe meeting, have breakfast, paint some more, nap and spend the evening with the guys. Today I consider myself lucky.
