IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

A great many people think they are thinking when they are only rearranging their prejudices. ~William James
Today I am grateful...
  • that I am at 1,476 posts today. Dave is at 1,500. We still have our interest in blogging.
  • that the Dr said my cholesterol levels were perfect
  • for those who stay in the rooms and those that come back
  • that it is a rare occurrence that my stomach rumbles from hunger
  • for my little life
An aspect of prejudice in my life is my refusal to listen. I tend to stay with my own thinking and I "shut off" people or ideas I do not want to hear. The problem with this attitude is that it does not lead to discussion, growth or change. ~Fr. Leo
One of my favorite things about the AA literature is the wording. "Thoroughly", "Completely", "Rigorous" and on and on. Sometimes I really key into those words to know it is work. I cannot be breezy about the directions. ~Gwen @ TwelveBeads

Really LOVED the opening quote...and especially loved that you are still interested in blogging. Hope Bunny is back to his ol' sweet self.

I'm new to these blogs and glad I found yours. Just wanted to say that the soberer I get the curiouser I get about both myself and the real world as it actually is.

Those who stay and those that come back . . . it creates this balance, we all need each other.
