It might be interesting to make a list of the reasons that the USA has entered into various wars. Certainly, this war is oil-related, without a doubt. The Civil War was based on the slavery issue. I guess we will always find justification to kill others and not practice these principles in all our affairs. Other countries and cultures go into war for differnet reasons. ie: their religion dictates that they murder all people who don't believe the same way as they do.
Thanks for sharing that link, Scott. It must be getting harder and harder to come up with reasons to keep the war machine going. Even the die hard conservatives I work with are starting to say "enough is enough."
