No, I did not get a new Chatty Cathy for Christmas!
Home safe and sound from a whirlwind trip to Waco, Texas. That's where Randall's family lives and we haven't been there for Christmas since his mom died. Bunny was good in the car, but now he suffers from this new, weird separation anxiety. When anyone would get out of the car or would step out the front door he would go into super shriek mode and it just freaked me out. I cannot figure out what the big deal is for him. It was his first trip away from home, and we really don't have many visitors to our smart town cottage, so maybe it was the newness of taking the trip. I don't know, I just know that last night in a strange bed it took him an hour to calm down and go to sleep. We got to bed late and I did not get near enough sleep, so that made me quiet and edgy all day. And I just hate riding in the back seat of cars, there is never enough leg room and getting this fat body in and out is just for the birds.
All in all it was nice to see the folks in Waco. We had our Christmas last night as the tradition with his family. Today he and I prepared the turkey, Jim and cousin Susie made the cornbread dressing and giblet gravy. Then we took all that and our selves over to Cousin Steve and Sharon's new house for dinner mid-day. Delicious!
I am gonna lie down for a few minutes and see if I can take a cat nap before going back over to Jim's for a light dinner and then some television viewing at Randall's.
Hope your holiday was just perfectly keen. Love to all.

Merry Christmas :)
Glad you made it back safely and in one peace.
Thanks for reminding me of the childhood trauma of NEVER GETTING A CHATTY CATHY!!!
Glad you made it home safely.
Merry Christmas,
So
Merry Christmas to you and Bunny xoxo
Sending my love to Bunny. I know car anxiety and how it feels to sleep away from home. As long as your daddy is with you, you have nothing to worry about!
May I suggest the "Dog Whisperer", he's got some awesome ideas and tips.
