Today I am grateful...
- that the hateful and physically debilitating stair railing paint job is over. There may be a little touch-up, but that is all. Climbing up and down all those stairs, doing contortions on a 12' ladder, getting up and down off the floor and steps just about crippled me. Seriously, my right knee is not functioning normally. It's 'take it easy time' this weekend.
- for Esther at HCHD who got an extension for me so I can have the Holter Monitor put on early Monday morning. I have to wear it for 48 hours to monitor my heart to see why my heart rate is elevated.
- for the power of turning it over. I am daily practicing this principle and it truly is one of the greatest things that has happened to me in sobriety. My baggage has lessened in weight which is a good thing considering how much weight I have gained.
- that my middle name isn't Wayne or Dewayne because a lot of serial killers do
Today I will take enough time to do something good for myself only. I will buy myself a gift or spend worthwhile time doing something pleasant and fulfilling. I have enough time today and I deserve this time for myself. ~Time for Joy

"Scott time" this weekend. Take care of yourself my bro.
I see you,
JJ
I love that first quote and will post it. Somewhere.
Do some "SCOTT" time today.
I love that pocket sponsor! True and simple.
Sometimes, you just have to stop. Stop. I did that last night and am very grateful. We get sober and feel great, and then we wear ourselves out. Such alcoholics! hee hee
Love,

i get a monitor every month... it's like a snappy little european purse... i wear mine because my heart beats so slow... too bad they can't take us and average it out...ha...
Oh wise Pocket Sponsor is...
"that my middle name isn't Wayne or Dewayne because a lot of serial killers do"
LOL Who knew!
it's nice to be able to take alittle "me" time every now and then, especailly as a reward for a pain in the knee job, well done...
I am glad you're looking into the heart thing, good luck!
R & R and a bubble bath.
Interesting comment about serial killer's names.... I have been a follower of serial killer stories and FBI profiling, and I didn't realize that factoid.
I am actively praying about a resentment myself. It's amazing how powerful they are, and how sneaky they are!
