IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

A sober alcoholic is like a turtle on a fence post - You know it had help. ~ Anon.

Today I am grateful...
  • that I can usually bite my tongue when tempted to make snide comments. I said usually.
  • that I can never remember the term 'self-entitlement'. It says something about me that I need to address?
  • that I was inspired by Matt's list to fold tee shirts as they came out of the dryer
  • that my Higher Power's channels are always open and I can tune in anytime
  • that I snapped out of it
  • that I get to share my life with some pretty incredible people

This is our life. This is it. We can decide how we want to spend our days and hours. We're not enslaved. We're not trapped. And not one of us is without options. We may not see our options clearly. Although we may have to struggle through shame and learn to own our power, we can learn to spend our valuable hours and days with the people we enjoy and choose to be with. ~The Language of Letting Go

Be grateful that some of Matt's other listings did not inspire you.
