A Love Affair Begins
This is Bunny. I adopted him today from my friend Melody of Not So Pink Cloud who rescued him and his brother, Barney. He whimpered all the way home, but once here adapted soon to Lucy (his big sister), I got some snapshots of him and he is now fast asleep on the bed. Plum tuckered out.
I was apprehensive about getting a new dog. I lost Chester in October, but this just seemed right. He is named after my Mom, Bunny, and he hops like a little rabbit. And as you can see, he is absolutely adorable.
On my fat stomach.
In bed, fighting sleep but in need a little preening.
Melody is the queen of dog rescues. I love her dearly and am grateful she brought me and Bunny together.
Don't worry, there will be lots more pictures.

Welcome to your home, Bunny.
He is adorable, Scott.
May he bring you much joy and pleasure!
Congratulations to the Happy Couple!
Cool Dog, guy! I have an ex sister-in-law who thinks any animal smaller than a bread box is trolling bait. Me? Heck, I went to visit a friend of mine in Fort Wayne and low and behold he has like a dozen (maybe more...) miniture, really tiny toy poodles.
Now, I'm not kidding, these things at their biggest was maybe two hands but, as I remember, that was the exception. I thought the "house-o-dogs" was just about the most fun I had had with that many dogs ever. 'Course, you realize that the key phrase was "that many" dogs....
Got four m'self. All big, except for Princess Gninski. She gets all the treats.
Heard that the dog ya have is the kind to really be loyal to ya, no matter what. As in, it will attack those who the dog feels are attacking you.
Oh yeah. I hear the snickers....
A policeman once found a boy who had been picked on by bullies, took the kid home and knocked on the door, presumably to discuss with Mom how the kid got hurt.
The door flies open and out come seven chihuahuas, all thinking the cop had hurt the boy.
He left limping....
I don't know the rest of the story, but, I know that an animal the size of what you have don't give a rat's behind what size anybody else is. The dog likes ya, yer safe!
But, come to think of it, Bunny is almost (in this day and age) sort of non-commtital....is it a boy or girl?
Scott, your new baby is darling. I just want to kiss Bunny so badly. What a sweet face!
Scott, your Bunny is absolutely adorable...Good luck making it thru the "puppy" phase.
You lucky *dog*. Would you send Bunny to Seattle for a little vacation? please more pictures soon.
Congratulations Scott! Sorry I just got around to reading blogs again. She's adorable..but you know that. When I met Max it was just the right dog at the right time. God knows what you need when you need it...I think. Love you.
