I believe that a sign of maturity is accepting deferred gratification. --Peggy Cahn

Today I am grateful...
  • that I can read the above quote and not think it totally hateful
  • that I am actually becoming able to watch the process and not force the outcome
  • that with ordinary thoughts in my head I can be supremely happy
  • for the love I am given, shown and taught
  • for a fresh start on my 811th day of sobriety

We do not remember days, we remember moments.----Cesare Pavese

Don't forget to add a line to the poem in Saturday's post. Thanks!

1.) I suck at painting.
2.) How was your breakfast?
3.) Thanks for your advice.
4.) Can I add more than one line to the poem?
I see you and a well hang drape hanger,
JJ

I really, really like today's post. "that with ordinary thoughts in my head I can be supremely happy" speaks directly to my post today. Thanks for your eloquence.

I have coffee cup given to me by my angel, it says, "We do not remember days. We remember moments."

Hold it, that's what you said.
Never mind.
