IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God's kindness: kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile. --Mother Theresa

Today I am grateful...
  • for the perfectly incredible weather we have been having--bright, clear, breezy and a touch cool
  • that I am continually surprised that people in the fellowship with whom I have never spoken know my name
  • for dinner at El Paraiso with my dear friend dAAve
  • that I was one of the twenty members of Lambda that voted on the new board. Twenty is less than 1/6th of the eligible voting membership and that, to me, is disheartening.
  • that I met someone last night who works for my bank (yesterday I discovered an issue with my checking account that threw me into instant freak out mode, I went to an open branch and talked to the 800 number customer service, both with no luck in resovling the issue). The gentleman I met told me to call him Monday morning and he would take care of the problem. This is a really good, big relief thing!
  • for Starbuck's fellowship with Angela, Brandon and Adrian. Brian dropped by on his way through. I really love being around younger people in the program, especially those cute ones!
  • for my new Conversations with God 2 and Communion with God books from Half-Price Books

...that which you do to others, you do to yourself; what you fail to do for others, you fail to do for yourself; ...the pain of others is your pain, and the joy of others your joy, and that when you disclaim any part of it, you disclaim yourself.

Now is the time to reclaim yourself. Now is the time to see yourself again as Who You Really Are, and thus, render yourself visible again. For when you, and your true relationship with God, become visible, then We are indivisible.

And nothing will ever divide Us again. Cw/G2

It it not great how people are put into our lives just when we need them?

And of course, how we are greateful for them is neverending.
