IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

I would rather go through life sober, believing I am an alcoholic, than go through life drunk, trying to convince myself that I am not.

Today I am grateful...
  • that Chester and I had over 15 1/2 years together, today he would have been 16 years old
  • that I got to meet Boston's BIG black dogs, Jack and Miles
  • that today I get to be of service to a friend, to the group and to the center
  • that my little life just keeps purring along
  • for the beautiful blond Lucy that is sitting here wagging her tail at me
  • to be provided all I need for today

Nobody sees a flower - really - it is so small it takes time - we haven't time - and to see takes time, like to have a friend takes time.-Georgia O'Keeffe

I remember a time when I was 19, I had 3 yrs sober, and I questioned, am I an alcoholic? was I just labeled? then I said to myself, I would rather be in this program, clean and sober that out there trying to figure it out... Today I know I am a alcoholic... thanks Scott... Have a great day

PS its snowing here again... :)

Happy Birthday Chester! I had a conversation w/Annie earlier and she said it all w/her big brown eyes. She said that she is jealous of Jack and how she never got to meet Chester but she looks forward to running, playing and sleeping with him when her time comes.

I love the comment of dog being God spelled backwards.
