IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

The whole object of the spiritual quest is to discover your own inner Self, experience the Truth within your own heart. You cannot find it anywhere but within yourself, but once you discover it within yourself, you can find it everywhere. -- Gurumayi Chidvilasananda

This Monday I am grateful...
  • that I woke up at 4:45 this morning after Chester couldn't settle down and get comfortable, and went to the 6:30 am Eyes Wide Shut meeting
  • that I shared about feeling instant empathy for another alcoholic and my on-going struggles with my character defect of not trusting my Higher Power enough
  • that I continue to strive to trust all the while praying for release from the bondage of the ego self
  • for yesterday's outing to Queen Jett's where I and three men in recovery had a loud and hysterical time with twelve lesbians in recovery, five dogs and lots of talk about latex male member reproductions including the addition of the phrase 'butt plug' into those women's lexicon
  • for graffiti outingng with Luscious LaJuana
  • to answer a meme on spirituality on Barbara's blog (I am the second Scott on the page)

I don't understand you whole grateful list but it isn't for me to understand. All I know is I am grateful for you.

Hey Scott,
Just saw your wonderful answers and I am so impressed how spiritual you are and how you have intertwined the principles of AA with other spiritual principles you have developed in your life. Having a path is so awesome!
