- to be able to set boundaries
- that when the automatic part of my mind leads me to the desire to criticize another I can pause, realizing that need to critique another is my self esteem needing some reassurance
- to have learned to trust the process and to shy away from apprehension
- to give out my phone number to others in the program and then actually answer the phone when it rings. This is a big one for me.
- to have found a way, yesterday, to correct my behavior before the damage was done, however small it would have been and whether or not it would have been discovered. What I did was to correct some selfishness in myself. I have to live with honesty, to the best of my ability.
- for proof that willingness to move forward can bring rewards

You seem to be a great example of recovery, scott! I am enjoying reading your gratitude lists and they are a reminder to me of why I should be grateful as well.
Have a good day.
I see some Integrity at work here.
I'm so glad I didn't know you before you got sober! Love you.

LMAO! Too true, oh too, too true!
Funny thing is, when I was drunk I thought nothing of ringing people at 4am....now I can barely summon the courage to ring my sponsor...let alone hand out my number.
Great post.
