Sorry, but I am receiving several spam comments daily. Some people have nothing better to do than post useless advertising comments on posts that date way back in time.

I love that google did an interesting word verification, rather than random characters.
What's it matter if no one will ever see it? Or am I missing somethin' here?
There is a setting where there is comment moderation for any post over 10 days old. I get the same thing. It is irritating, but I get the e-mail, and I just delete.
I'm as slow as Dave on this one. Plus I feel jealous cause I don't get spam.
Thanks, Mary. I will try the comment moderation for posts over 7 days and see if that works. I would rather not have to deal with deleting the email notifications, but will give it a shot.

I do comment moderation. It seems to get rid of a lot of Japanese porn comments that I keep getting.
