Today I am grateful...
- for an evening of great art, laughter, squeezing in a half meeting, late dinner with a friend
- that I can have actual conversations with strangers, complete with whole sentences and eye contact. It didn't used to be that way.
- for the bonding friendships in recovery
- that the power of observation reveals a multitude of life's miracles
- for the blessings of having Bunny in my life
If God had a name, what would it be / And would you call it to his face / If you were faced with him in all his glory / What would you ask if you had just one question? ~Joan Osborne 'What if God Was One of Us'

I am getting great comfort from Theo hugs these days. It's amazing the love we can feel from our sweet dogs.
I love greeting a stranger with a big smile and kind remarks...you can see them 'light' up! Lyrics to music are such an inspiration. I love that song!
It's funny you posted the a quote from "What if God was one of us." I've had Kate Bush in my head.."if I could make a deal with God" Enjoy your blog. Thank you!
Love that quote. Reminds me of Colin Raye's "What if Jesus Came Back Like That."
I just adore your simplicity,Scott.
Your posts always feel relaxing.
I am much more comfortable around people that I don't know. I used to cross to the other side of the street to avoid people.
