Today I am grateful...
- that I believe I am here for a reason: to love myself and others
- that I have learned to accept myself
- that with self-acceptance comes self-respect
- that what I do has an effect on others, that I am apart of other's lives and they a part of mine
- that I have begun to trust

Oh those spiritual axioms...it's taken me a long time to relearn everything I had believed for such a long time. That pocket sponsor is so wise!
But if I divide my load by sharing it, am I not increasing someone else's load?

I have learned to accept you as well. It was so EASY.
Dis you also know that when condemmed men in London were to be hanged they were made to walk behind a horse and wagon on their way tto the gallows. The hangman would ride in the wagon. To give the condemmed man courage and to dull his senses the watching crowd would ply the prisoner with alcohol, to dull his senses. To make sure that the hangman did a quick and merciful execution he was not allowed any alcohol. From this comes the saying "one for the road" a drink for the condemmed man walking on the road, and "On the Wagon" meaning abstinence for the executioner.
I too have begun to trust, although there are days when I wonder about whether the trust is well-placed.
