Waking to who you are requires letting go of who you imagine yourself to be. ~Jim Britt

Today I am grateful...
- for a totally satisfying weekend
- that I am safe and cared for by a loving Higher Power
- for this journey back to knowing
- that people are seeming less crazy. The past two weeks have been a doozy.
- for the gift of prayer and the practice of gratitude. Life is so different with them.
There are few better means of self-survey and of developing patience than the workouts these usually well-meaning but erratic members so often afford us. ~As Bill Sees It

That means an average of one post per day for over 7 years. How time flies (just kidding of course, you haven't been blogging that long)
Wow Scott...Congrats on the milestone! I just had a chance to catch up on the last few days here. Loved your 'poised for success'! Today follows along with waking up to who we really are...
You are worthy and you deserve the BEST!
Congrats on the endurance - it seems like you're among those who've paved the way for something here for me.
Thank you...
Blessings and aloha...
Those aa members keep us hopping.
And congrats on so many posts. You average 2 a day, don't you?
crazy
doozy
You are awesome Scott. That's a lot of posts. I'm glad that things are less crazy for me this week too.
I go back and delete old posts that were not that good. Is that extra anal or just normal anal?
Happy "2,738th post!"
Congrats on your posting # that's awesome!!
I LOVE the Jim Britt quote, I'm gonna sit with that one a while
Hi my satisfied friend.
happy 2738th post to you!
this gives me the "cheel" bumps: "that I am safe and cared for by a loving Higher Power" which is my version of god's lovin's.
What's great is that not only do you blog, you also comment generously.
About infrequent visitors, my Alanon pet peeve is those who start and end with 'I really should come to more meetings'. Maybe I'll start clapping next time I hear that. (I may have descended from animals who eat their young!)Where better to act out than in a meeting, I'm not sure that I believe that, just feeling peppie.
You know you're in the right place when you Google "the antidote for fear" and the first link that comes up is a posting by Scott W on "Attitude of Gratitude." Thanks and congrats, my friend.
