You are rich in one respect – you have a spirit that is inexhaustible. Let no mean or selfish thought keep you from sharing this spirit. ~25 Hours a Day
.
Today I am grateful...
  • that I got to share the gratitude concept with two friends yesterday
  • that I did a little follow the leader yesterday
  • for Sundays that do not involve detoxing
  • that I can write my gratitude list and keep up with two IMs on FB simultaneously
  • that today I have what it takes and no superstitions can sway me from that thought

Love is something if you give away, you end up having more. ~Malvina Reynolds

Sundays were my 'no rules' drinking days. It took me a long time to just get through Sundays sober. Today I'm looking forward to a gorgeous day...filled with no mean or selfish thoughts...I'll do my best! Enjoy your day!

In my early (angry, confused, fragile) days in AA I thought Gratitude Lists were a lame concept. Now I use one every day and so do my sponsees and we compare what we've written.

I'm grateful that none of my loved ones are in detox. And that I don't have to deal with any of the previous shenanigans that occurred on Sundays after being drunk on Saturday night.
