IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

Maybe we should be glad life isn't fair. Why? Most of us caused a lot of trouble we've never had to pay for. And we've hurt a lot of people who haven't gotten even. Would we really want life to be fair? ~Keep It Simple
.
Today I am grateful...
  • that while I would love to return to bed for some more sleep, I will be fine if I don't get it
  • that Chevy has introduced the Volt that they claim will get over 230 miles per gallon
  • that I got to share in depth with several people yesterday about the power of the recovery program called Alcoholics Anonymous and how it changes lives
  • that in the fellowship friendships are easily formed
  • for a life of passion when the previous one left me wondering why I had no passion for anything of value

The expression of praise as thanksgiving, gratitude, and joy is among the most powerful forms of affirmation. ~Catherine Ponder

When our praying turns to praising, that is what heaven is about.

I am forever grateful I didn't get what I deserved. I'll choose mercy over "fairness" anyday!

I like the Keep It Simple quote. I definitely have passion for a lot of stuff today. The funny thing is that I had passion for many things over the years but somehow along the way, I just went through the motions.

I do love that friendships are formed so easily in our fellowship.
