Today I am grateful...
- with the thermostat set on 75º the air conditioner is actually shutting off for a few minutes
- for a little more ability to observe when my mind wanders into dangerous territory
- for the security of sobriety, the fellowship, of having a sponsor; the security of knowing all is as it should be
- that I can live this day with hope for a bright future
- that today I do not have to live in the past
- for the ease of letting go
Stop listening to your mind. You will not find the truth there. You may find the answer, but it will not be the truth unless it coincides with the answer in your heart.

I've had my A/C on 75 since just after Hayden left. Can't wait to see if it makes a difference in the bill. And it shuts off often (too).

I just spent the weekends in the mountains where the nights were 45 degrees.
Not gloating (much)...
I'm still working out the heart/head thing. I think it's my task until I get to push up daisies.

I like the quote about stop listening to my mind. It has gotten me in trouble so many times. When my head and heart are in alignment then I'm okay.
