Many men and women are creeping through life on their hands and knees, merely because they refuse to rely on any power but themselves. ~24 Hours a Day

Today I am grateful...
- that anyone can have recovery at any age
- that with participation comes some understanding of the process of recovery
- for patience in all its forms
- for mute buttons. Do they make one that works on humans?
- for all that my life is today. It is overwhelming what I have been given. The practice of gratitude lets all that fall into place in my mind and in my heart.
The spiritual journey involves going beyond hope and fear, stepping into unknown territory, continually moving forward. The most important aspect of being on the spiritual path may be just to keep moving. ~Pema Chodron

Oh hun, if they made mute buttons for humans I would have had one a long time ago. One for Joe and one for Steph.
'Creeping on hands and knees'. Good visual there. And I just love the 'practice of gratitude". The more we practice, the better we get at it, eh? Great start for me today.
I need the mute button in this family.
This family (and the AA peeps) need the mute button--for ME!
I like the mute buttons for humans. That would be great.
The Alanon version would be imagining a bandaid across the human's forehead.
Nice - and thanks for your encouragement today. That white canvas is intimidating!
Today, I am grateful for sobriety,
breathe, the sublime weather, dog parks, my own dog, air condition, that I cooked dinner, sponsees, changes over which I have no control, friends, the best parents in the world (which is the result of making these gratitude lists), life, my job, my boss, cara, serenity, my big fat greek wedding.
if not a mute button, i'd definitely like a volume control. i'm also quite sure others have wished the same for me :)
i need a mute button. i also want a dvr to use anytime i need to rewind or pause something i'm watching or hearing on the radio.
