Today I am grateful...
- that barring any unforeseen circumstances today the oral surgeon will take care of this bothersome tooth
- that in that chair I will repeat to myself, "This too shall pass". That statement has helped me tremendously in sobriety.
- for desk fans and ceiling fans, a necessity for summertime
- that last night was the shaky first episode of The Fashion Show
- that most stuff works out better when I am able to stand out of the way
We can help others by honestly telling them what we think and feel and see---but only when we do this with love. We must be careful when we speak. A friend of mine used to contrast using the truth with the precision of a scalpel or stiletto instead of wielding it as a broadsword or club...
No trouble for me to tell others what I think--it's all the rest of that paragraph which gives me the jitters.

I have a fan at work under my desk. We have 3 ceiling fans in the house. I sleep with a fan on high strright on me EVERY night. I still get hot. Damn hormones.
