How about a little ART 101?

I stumbled across a short feature on Ellis Gallagher last night on the Current channel. He traces shadows on the street or sidewalk with sidewalk chalk. The outlined shadow seems illuminated when first done, then the shadow moves and what remains is the ghost of a shadow. Brilliant!

I am fascinated by art like this. The most mundane and almost free, expression turned inside out. He said he was mugged by someone brandishing a machete, and he remembered the shadow. He then became fascinated with shadows. I am, too. You can see it in my art.
