IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

Give as much of yourself as you can to as much of your higher power as you can understand. ~S.H.
.
Today I am grateful...
  • that the drink I took on my birthday, in a bar at a party for me was just a dream
  • that every day I have a constant purpose
  • that I have been quick to pray lately
  • for the oddness of becoming less sensitive in many parts of my life, and becoming more sensitive in others
  • to have a Friday stretching out ahead of me

In the winter of our lives, we become stripped down to our essence like a tree. We may become more radiant than ever at this stage, because our inner light shines brighter through our eyes as time passes. Beauty at this age comes from the very core of our being--our essence. This essence is a reminder that there is nothing to fear in growing older and that there is a kind of beauty that comes only after one has spent many years on earth. ~Daily Om

You are divine
You can draw a straight line
You don't drink wine
and your shoes always shine.
You are excellent at design
Your tastes are refined
And your friends.......you never malign.

As someone who's "old" by most of my family & friends opinion, I appreciate the new radiance - I aspire there...

I also get that praying is a much better response than the despair I've chosen in the past.

Thanx for your post.

Your dream reminds me of the ones I have about smoking. I am always SO glad to wake up and realize it was just a dream. I am especially glad yours was just a dream.

Pam, you are one in a million.

Yup, I'm getting more radiant by the minute. I wonder if some Botox can tone down my radiance.

I am glad that drink you took was just a dream. Because that would be a nightmare.
