IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship. ~Louisa May Alcott
.
Today I am grateful...
  • for the desire to persist in my current weight loss program
  • for the practice of gratitude and the self-propelling nature it has created
  • that last night I took time for some television and clearing out the DVR
  • to strive to follow the advise, "Don't let others rent space in your head" it's a hard one for me, often
  • that I do not have the desire to produce eight babies at once, for self-promotion

Sobriety works! The struggle and pain to act responsibly in my life is paying off and it does get better. I am not going to give up. My life is worth more than a quick fix! ~Fr Leo

I do not have the desire for 8 children either brother. She is a sad case huh? I heard this morning there are still hundreds of folks here who still do not have their cable TV back after the January ice storm. That is a long time.

You're too old to have babies.
I think.

Drat!
I just sent you eight babies by parcel post. I think you can refuse delivery.

Try the cabbage soup diet. Then avoid confined spaces later in the day.

You just cannot imagine the visual I had of you having 8 babies. OUCH!

8 babies and your current food plan probably wouldn't work out well.

I like the L.M. Alcott quote a lot. I always liked the saying about renting space in my head. It's so true.
