Abundance has no limit. A life that is richly lived creates much richness in the lives of those all around. Every achievement you see, see as a beginning. Appreciate the richness that is, and you'll be creating even more. ~Ralph Marston

Today I am grateful...
- for someone who, when I first got sober, insisted on being my friend. I was confused by the attention and did not know his intentions or what he wanted by those actions. I didn't trust anyone. Turns out all he wanted was to be my friend and it was truly a gift to me, that friendship. He is one of the most generous people I have ever met and gives me encouragement on an ongoing basis. He is one of my favorite people on this Earth. And today is his birthday. Happy Birthday, Dave!!!
- that I am not now, nor ever have been, a television actor nor have I ever called Judith Beasley
- that this morning I don't have to wait until 11 AM so I could sneak in and out of one of the liquor stores I used to frequent
- that there will be no green beer for me today
- for the gift of choice and the freedoms that come with it
May the Irish hills caress you.
May her lakes and rivers bless you.
May the luck of the Irish enfold you.
May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.~Irish Blessing

Beautiful Irish Blessing for today. It's far more than a drinking holiday and I'm delighted to be able to understand that fully in my sobriety. I went and wished a Happy birthday to Dave already. (Hugs)Indigo
Good that you reassured us regarding Dave's intentions.
I love that expression, "a life richly lived"...it says so much more than a life lived with riches.
Your friendship with Dave is such a wonderfully inspiring thing. Really. I love your humor.
