I have a Ruby Ball Moon Cactus. It has a little defect - it can't accept proper amounts of chlorophyll. The result is a beautiful ruby red mutation growing on the top of it. It is exquisite.
This has made me wonder, even when we think things are mistakes in nature, are they really?
