It is such a secret place, the land of tears. ~Antoine de St. Exupery

Today I am grateful...
- that my sister and her family are warm and dry, but without electricity after the last two nights of ice storms. Their area was hit hard and most are without power.
- for the grace that supports today's blessings and gives me their experience
- that we are all fighting the same battle, in some ways
- for commitments
- for solutions
[T]here's magic in what we believe. Our beliefs tell our future better than any crystal ball or psychic can. As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he, one holy book says. Be mindful of your thoughts and beliefs. What you think and believe today, whether it's I can't or I can, is what you will manifest tomorrow. ~More Language of Letting Go

I like what you said about "we are all fighting the same battles, in some ways." You are SO right about that. I'm glad your sis and family are safe, warm and dry. Keep us updated.
I wish sometimes that we could all switch off the cast of characters in our various battles.
I'm bored with mine.
So has Annie to keep her warm :)
So is powerless. hmmmmmmmm
Why is the "T" in "There's" bracketed?
I'll send your sister some whale oil.
I am glad you sister is warm and dry now... oh man our weather is crazy
Glad your family is OK.
I love what you said about we're all fighting the same battle.
My brother once sent me an email with the following quote:
"Be kinder that necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle"
I try to remember that every day it helps me to practice unconditional compassion
I'm sorry that the ice storm knocked out power but that's usually what occurs.
I like the quote about what you think or believe today...
Glad to hear that So is Ok.
I'm battling procrastination and dust bunnies...and they are winning...

So true. Emmet Fox says, "What you think grows." I'm working on this.
