Love acts the part, and even people who cannot define love will respond to it. If love is present in our AA activities, it will cover a multitude of sins and will make up for many other shortcomings. ~Walk in Dry Places

Today I am grateful...
- for all the love in my life today
- for comments from lurkers who qualify why I am here on the 'interwebs' every day
- for the slow, mature changes a life in recovery brings
- that my reality is less fantasy based than it used to be
- that my dreams today do not seem too far fecthed as I have had some great accomplishments in my sobriety
Through morning prayers and meditation, we embark upon the day spiritually prepared. Without this preparation, we enter the day with yesterday's anxieties - our own and those of millions of others. ~Marianne Williamson

What Pam said.
Lurkers say thank you. Please keep writing and painting!
Take Tuesday, or as much of Tuesday as possible, off -this is history happening.
Greatest accomplishment in my sobriety, is that I have not drank alcohol since I began 34 years ago.
Prayer and meditation are key for me in combatting my defects of character. Doesn't eliminate them but I sure do stay aware of what makes them active and diligent at preventing the circumstances - most days.
AA, it works !
One of the things I constantly tell people is, "Life is almost always Unfair, we even up the odds with love." (Hugs)Indigo
Glad to have gotten to know you here on the interwebs.
lurky, lurky, lurky...
Oh wow. Your blog is a gem, and exactly what I needed at this precise moment. A gentle reminder to pull my head up and start each day anew, with gratitude. Thank you. Now how did I get here again?
