To us, humility looked like weakness. But when we came into A.A., we began to be humble. And we found out that humility gave us the power we needed to overcome drinking. ~Twenty-Four Hours a Day

Today I am grateful...
- for my Saturday work at Lambda where I am the bookkeeper. Today I meet with the accountant (she is always fun to be with) and do my usual stuff. Imputing data and keeping an eye on things is satisfying to me.
- that I have four paintings hanging in the back gallery at Nau-haus and I will be there for the opening tonight
- that my right eye is much better this morning. Last night I got cat or something in it and it wasn't happy.
- that the weather will take a decided turn toward winter today
- that everything seems to be in place
We will want the good that is in us all, even in the worst of us, to flower and grow. But first of all we shall want sunlight, nothing much can grow in the dark. Meditation is our step out into the sun. ~As Bill Sees It

yes, every thing does seem to be in place.
I'm gonna stop reading and commenting RIGHT NOW, step away from this machine, and practice being alone with, and quiet with, my God, Who will let me know what is the next right thing to do.
Amen.

A moment to share: This morning, chairing the "Good Stuff" meeting,I had the honor and pleasure to hand a 43-yr coin to a man named John. And, damn, he looked good.
Lucky for Lambda to have Scott!
I've heard of a sock in the eye before, even mud in your eye.
I sure hope that cat stays out of your eye today.
It wasn't Sheldon's cat, was it? She's really big.
So you like to keep an eye on things? I bet your fellow bloggers there keep you very busy!

I've gotten cat and dog in my eye before and it isn't pretty. Glad that everything is in place except the darn cat.
