We never had a tree like this but an old couple who lived down the street in a second-floor apartment did. Their names were Ralph and Millie Ginger. (not ginger like the cookie, hard g in the middle...) Why in the world I remember that, I'm not sure. I was only 10 at the time. When we moved away two years later, they bought me a purse shaped like a donkey head. Pretty surreal seniors, those Gingers. ;-P
