Want to know about your Spiritual Source? 'It is a simple procedure to calculate the number of seeds in an apple. But who among us can ever say how many apples are in a seed?' ~Wayne Dyer

Even though I feel very small when the stars come out at night, I remember that I, too, am made of stardust.

Today I am grateful...
- for the awe I saw in Dave's face yesterday when he shared with me an AHA moment he found in Daily Reflections (I have talked to many alcoholics who have gone back to drinking and I always ask them: "Did you pray for sobriety the day you took your first drink?" Not one of them said yes.)
- that I get to meet with my sponsor this morning for my booster shot
- to have choices in sobriety and that I have made many more right choices than wrong ones
Humility arises from a deep sense of gratitude to God for giving you the strength to rise above past failures. Humility is not inconsistent with self-respect. The true person has self-respect and the respect of others and yet is humble. The humble person is tolerant of other's failings, and does not have a critical attitude toward the foibles of others. ~Twenty-Four Hours a Day

You are my daily booster shot. I like it.
Sometimes my daily booster shot hurts...but I still need to hear it.
Isn't the weather grand?
Gratitude looks so good on you!
I heard my pal Sheldon say something very similar in a meeting, something he was told by an old-timer about fifteen years ago: that no one who relapsed could say that they had thanked their Higher Power each morning for keeping them sober the previous day and prayed for help staying sober in the day ahead.
